Came in late over the holidays but they served us hot tasty food with great service.
The Park Restaurant name came from years ago when they were located in the Park near Rushville High School. That location caught fire and during the rebuild, I guess the town building commissioners decided not to renew all their permits, due it this being a business located in a public park. So now there's a nearly rebuilt business building sitting empty in the park, and the owners moved the Park Restaurant near the Rushville Hospital inside the old closed down fast food burger joint known as Clancy's Hamburgers.
What a nice family restaurant. Had the pan fried chicken, it was delicious along with the pea salad. The service was awesome. Highly recommend trying this place. Very good!
When in the park they were always busy with locals eating breakfast and drinking coffee, and their food was fresh and hot, and the service was usually pretty good, even on very busy days.

Now they have taken that same service and cooking skill and use it in their new location. Same good food and same good service. They have great breakfasts and nice dinners. This place is a good alternative to fast food places, and although not fancy inside, it is a nice place for a tasty dinner at fair to average prices.
Give them a try for some good American traditional food at a good price, with good service, but without the fancy ambiance.
